I could see that scenario taking place. Penske is going to three cars in NASCAR next year and has his two car ALMS program, Ganassi has his NASCAR and Grand Am programs, and N/H/L looked at partnering with a NASCAR operation. PN and CH are getting up there in age so there will come a time when Lanigan will be the day-to-day guy calling the shots. Without these teams both sides will crumble.
